EXAMINERS’ WORKSHOP 2025
The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as part of its statutory activities, organizes a workshop biennially for prospective Examiners engaged in Nursing and Midwifery Professional Examination in Nigeria.
AIM OF THE WORKSHOP
The aim of the Workshop is to equip prospective Council Examiners with the requisite knowledge and skills for appropriate conduct of various parts of the Council’s professional examinations among others.
THEME:
The theme is: “Competency-Based Assessment: A Foundation For Effective Nursing And Midwifery Education And Practice”
TARGET AUDIENCE:
The expected audience at the workshop are:
- Provosts/Directors/Lecturers in Colleges of Nursing Sciences
- Coordinators/Educators in PostBasic/Post Graduate Nursing Programmes
- Heads/Lecturers of Departments of Nursing Sciences in Nigerian Universities.
- Clinical Instructors, Preceptors and Clinicians in Nursing Training Institutions and Health Facilities.
- Desk Officers and Focal Persons (who are Nurses) responsible for indexing and examinations in Nursing training institutions in Nigeria.
REGISTRATION WORKSHOP FEE:
Early Birds: N100,000 – 3rd June – 6th July, 2025
Late Birds: N120,000 – 7th – 20th July, 2025
Onsite Payment: N200,000 – 21st July, 2025
Please note that payment is to be made via Workshop Portal of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and evidence of payment must be presented at the venue of the workshop.

The workshop will take place at six (6) States in the geopolitical zones as indicated below:

WORKSHOP DATE
The workshop is fixed tentatively for 24th July – 4th August 2023 for two weeks’ duration at six Centre. Three Centre are to run concurrently each week and shall hold for 4 days. The batches are indicated below:
